Mrs. Brooke Cranshaw-Busch, a fifth-grade teacher at Floresville South Elementary, has been selected as the first Educator of the Quarter by the Wilson County News and Firstmark Credit Union.
Mrs. Cranshaw-Busch was nominated by a parent who said her son was excited to learn he would be in her class this 2023-2024 school year. The parent added that her son loves the class and talks about his teacher often.
The Wilson County News and Firstmark Credit Union partnered to create the Educator of the Quarter (EOTQ) contest for Wilson County teachers, where four deserving educators will be presented with the award and a $500 VISA® gift card this year! The EOTQ is selected by a panel, who reviews the nominations received and chooses a winner based on the originality/creativity of the statement and inspirational power of the nominee’s story, as well as the embodiment of the “Educator of the Quarter” theme.
Huge congratulations to Mrs. Cranshaw-Busch! She is a true representation of Floresville ISD's core belief that our staff are compassionate, dedicated, adaptable individuals, who are student-centered. We thank her for her service to our students, district, and community.
